Today was a good day; there were things I knew needed to be said in this story and said they were. Fast. Remember, each of these wordcounts, unless you are told otherwise, is from a single 30 minute session. No more. Add to this two 30-minute redraft sessions and a host of other things and my day is done.

Done, that is, apart from searching for flights to Scotland to see my new niece (my only niece, or nephew, for that matter). We are very excited about this but the price of flights has recently risen (Brexit?) to the extent that it is cheaper on some days to travel to Canada (from France) than it is to the UK. The problems of being nomadic.
