Selfies

Today’s website task was to choose photos of myself to upload to the frontpage here.  This was not fun.

Having my eyes stare back at me for a couple of hours as I selected, cropped, collaged and scaled, was not my idea of a joyous afternoon.

I will leave a selection on the home page, at least for a day or so — then I will select which collage stays.  I suppose I could always alter it if I change my mind at a later date.

I know many people love to take and see photos of themselves, but I have never really found it enjoyable.  I started a 365 self-portrait project this year, in an attempt to get more used to taking these and enjoying the process.  It lasted less than a month.
