Friday Photo #2 Cliff Strata at Duncansby Head
Planning, lots of planning, has led to the adoption of a posting schedule here on my site. This is not something I really thought about before, merely being content with sharing things as and when I felt like it, but now that is going to change. I have started my Thirty-Nine Steps series and, last week, shared the first Friday Photo.
I intend to add a pair of new categories in the coming weeks. Firstly, I shall be reviewing and sharing details of “stuff” I use (and the jury is still out on the title for this section, whether “Equipment” will suffice, or “Stuff” or…?): whether a backpack, an item of clothing, or a computer programme, for example. I shall introduce this soon and explain why I am going to do so, as well as discuss why I have not previously bothered with this traffic-friendly idea. The other category is “Places”. Again, I shall introduce this properly but, for now, suffice to say I shall be initially detailing places local to me — Scotland and, particularly, the areas accessible by the wonderful North Coast 500 initiative.
In keeping with this idea, here’s a photo from Duncansby Head, the very top right corner of mainland Scotland. This is a short drive from John o’Groats (or indeed a walk along a shoreline that will remind you of the power of the sea). I’ll properly introduce this area in a later “Places” post.
(Remember — clicking on the photo below takes you to the image on my Flickr site, where you can download it, share it, view it in different resolutions etc, rolling over the image will give you an added wee snippet of text.)

I like the name ‘stuff’. Stuff is good and all-encompassing!
Yes it is, isn’t it? Stuff is good. Stuff it shall be.
