What can you expect here?

In short, many things and diverse. I am a writer of fiction, of essays, of thoughts and ideas and observations. I have an ongoing love of studying and learning about nature, about our own place within this whole, whether through bushcraft, archaeology, culture or eating all the delicious food I can find. I expect this site will be, in a word, eclectic.

This is the section of this site which is updated most frequently. When I am writing new words of fiction I try and record the number achieved here, often with other thoughts and musings. This is the closest thing to a 'traditional' elderblog I have here.
